Sage of Rose

From a young age, Elyssia was taught by her adopted father to commune with the elementals and how to perform basic conjury. Her skill was commendable then and through her continued study and practice she has become a formiddable mage. Her skillset excells in the use of white magic and Elyssia has excellent control and understanding of her limits such as her lower stamina. She learned to imbue herself with aether to amplify her abilities for short periods of time at cost of physical exhaustion.

Despite not growing up in the shroud, she has a connection to hearing the elementals through her own gift of the echo. She is not a devout hearer in the slightest, but she relies upon them to give her strength when she calls upon them. In private, she will often try to steal away to the shroud to do good in the wood as her thanks, as taught to her by the padjals.

As part of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn as well as the Maelstrom, she will join parties to offer her protections and healing abilities.

Pink Princess

Raised by elezen parents after her biological parents were murdered by Garleans, Elyssia grew up in the lap of luxury and was significantly pampered. Despite having very loving and doting parents, she grew up dealing with feelings of loneliness and an otherness she couldn’t identify.

Elyssia also became competitive to a fault, feeling a need to continuously prove herself and falling into tantrums and frustration on occasions that she failed. She also had trouble initiating friendships and trying to understand the feelings of others. After going to Gridania to study conjury at thirteen and befriending Quinnen Talian, Elyssia began to finally understand the give and takes of relationships.

Now in her twenties, she is still a stubborn and seemingly confident woman, but she does make an effort to not be as icy as she could be to those not already in her circle. She sympathizes with beast tribes throughout Eorzea, but has a strong connection to the Slyphs and Moogles.

Elyssia is an avid reader and collects tomes of all sorts that catch her fancy from alchemical research journals to bestiaries and spell books. She also indulges in fiction novels, enjoying thrilling mysteries or lascivious romances - some are even added to her shelves simply for the novelty of it.

Fleece and Felicity, Elyssia's personal chocobo and pet dodo respectively, are her precious pets and companions. She is very protective of them and Fleece feels mutually towards his master. Felicity is a nutty young bird that imprinted upon Elyssia and forced herself into her life, for better or worse.

Elyssia has a particular interest in alchemy and its many applications and uses. She also has a good relationship with the alchemist's guild in Ul'dah while supplying them with good deals on materials through a branch of her family's merchant trade.

The Tr'iere family business's heart lies in brokering deals and sharing trade routes and supply lines working out of Limsa Lominsa. Pascaline and Bastion Tr'iere are known for being silver-tongued yet amiable business people and have plenty of friends in high and low places to diversify their business and stay a step ahead of the competition. Elyssia enjoys using her family's privileges to her advantage as bargaining chips or for humanitarian efforts she comes across in her adventuring.

Quinnen is Elyssia's best friend and confidant and she would do anything to protect him from those that would wish him harm. They are also complicated rivals in magecraft, she starting off as his mentor in their youth.
Baran Roh is a friendly acquaintance that Elyssia enjoys teasing. Baran is loyal to Quinnen and thus worthy of respect and friendship in Ely's eyes.

I'm Sammi!

I have been playing FFXIV for five years and have experience roleplaying privately for several more but I am just now trying to join the rp community with my best foot forward! I play a lot on Crystal Data Center at odd times throughout the week due to odd work times, but I'm almost always available via Discord or my Art Twitter! I also have an Art Tumblr, and I've drawn/edited all art and screenshots on my character profiles c:

I write in Third Person and can vary on wordiness, sometimes with quick sentences but often with slightly slower, thicker paragraphs.
I personally prefer to rp AND chat over discord but I am open to trying walk up rp in private tells! If you'd like my discord feel free to use my above tag to message me! I'd like to try to make new friends~! Though I promise to try to not overwhelm you with my chattiness ;v;

I am looking for casual rp. Mature/erp is not something I am opposed to with some other characters but it would have to be discussed as I am very particular about it. Elyssia's character is not open for ERP. Please keep this in mind.

I am not entirely lore-compliant and understand if that is a deal breaker. In my personal canon Quinnen is the Warrior of Light and hero of his own story though there are many others with the echo (Elyssia for example), but in rp I am far more relaxed and vague acknowledging many warriors of light doing good across Eorzea. We can discuss what you're comfortable with if we want to rp anything with plot that deals with this C:
